Who We Are
We worship Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.
We’re a small, vibrant, inter-generational church navigating ministry in the 21st century.
Here at Henderson we know it’s easy to get caught up in the values of a society that tells us happiness is found in the pursuit and acquisition of money and possessions. At Henderson Community Church we recognize there’s more to life than big houses and shiny cars.
At Henderson we’re about looking for more spiritual depth than the feel-good consumerist Christianity so often passed off as the real thing.
At Henderson we’re about asking questions and not always knowing the answers — and not getting upset with each other when we don’t agree.
At Henderson we’re about walking together on a journey of faith, sharing our joys, doubts, concerns, and challenges.
At Henderson we’re about letting the lessons of the past guide us into the future. We think history matters, traditions matter, and that the words spoken by a man who lived some 2,000 years ago still have meaning for us today.
If you are looking for a disappear into the crowd, nobody’s going to know your name kind of place—Henderson is not the church for you.
But if you are looking for a place to make deep connections, explore your faith, and participate in traditions that connect you to believers around the world and throughout time—Henderson might be the place for you.
